The Free Republic of Fadeland -
a multinational alternative to all other countries in the world

"On the 23. March 2000, the "bureau of radical space planning" conquered an iceberg of the size of Jamaica, formerly known as the B-15, that cracked off the Ross Iceshelf, Antarctica, at the beginning of march , and declared it to be an autonomous country called "The Free Republic of Fadeland".
It will take about 20 years for Fadeland to drift into warmer waters and start melting away.
Unlike other countries, its size, shape and location will not be changed by political but by natural processes. It will disappear into the sea, will become part of the clouds in the sky, the rain, the rivers, the plants.
By loosing its boundaries, Fadeland will extend worldwide."

The "Foreign ministery of Fadeland" is pleased to inform the world public of the appointment of Andreas Uhl as life ambassador of the Free Republic of Fadeland from the 23. March 2000.
He will travel arround the world with a mobile embassy to establish diplomatic relationships with other countries, giving receptions for its foreign ministers and other government representatives.
